API Aquarium Salt is something that MyTurtleStore.com uses on a regular basis. One time a week turtles are taken from their habitats and placed in a bucket of warm water, about 3 gallons. To the warm water we add one table spoon of API Salt stir until salt has dissolved then add your turtle to the bucket for 30 to 45 minutes, after that time simply put your turtle back in its home. Salt is great at preventing fungus growth and reducing stress in water turtles.
