Razorback Musk Turtles really look like no other turtle you’ll find. They are very interesting turtles to observe and care for. These are aquatic turtles that need deep waters because they love to swim and spend the majority of their time in the water. They’ll appreciate a nice substrate, perhaps of river pebbles, and some floating aquatic plants to give them a sense of security. Razorback Musk Turtles do very well feeding on our high-quality turtle pellets and you can find them at MyTurtleStore.com. They do well with other species, especially those that spend a lot of time basking, but they should be closely monitored if being kept with other Razorback Musks. They are considered to be the shyest of the Musk Turtles with infrequent basking habits. Currently our Juvenile Razorback Musk Turtles are approximately 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 inches in size.
