B Grade Turtles may have the following: shell imperfections, nipped tails, neck sore, eye issues, missing nails ect. B Grade Turtles Come With No Warranty Or Guarantee The Peninsula Cooter Turtles (Pseudemys peninsulari) or River Cooter Turtles as they are sometimes called can be seen basking in rivers, streams, ponds and lakes throughout most of the peninsula of Florida where it is native too. It is found north of Florida, but it is unclear how far north it goes. The Peninsula cooter turtles that are for sale are exceptionally good swimmers and prefer to be in deep water with a sandy bottom. Its tank must have an abundance of plants and vegetation; they do not make a good community turtles. We rank them as an intermediate turtle. However with a little turtle experience under your belt, they do make for an interesting next step in turtle keeping. In its native surroundings they are known to be strictly vegetarian. In captivity they take to being feed turtle pellets, green leaf lettuce, mustard greens and even small cut up pieces of fruit. However with that said you must remember to feed all your turtles a variety of different foods. Never feed just one type of food on a regular basis.
