Product Description
*Note: These are A Grade Turtles But Because They Are Pond Turtles They May Be Covered In Algae.
Map turtles love to swim and bask on logs in creeks and ponds. The map-like markings on their shells is the reason they’re called “Map” turtles. The Mississippi Map Turtle can also be identified by a crescent-shaped marking near the eye. They’re native to the Mississippi River regions and its strong currents, but they do great in ponds, too! They’ll feast on the aquatic plants that are growing in your pond, but they enjoy our turtle foods as well. What your Mississippi Map turtle will really enjoy is some nice deep water to swim around in. These beautiful turtles are fun to watch and great to have around in any pond on your property.
